photo at 911 memorial gardenAs with so many historic events in our nation’s great history, the tragic events that took place in our country on September 11, 2001, make it a day we shall never forget. The Beverly Hills 9/11 Memorial Garden pays tribute to those whose lives were lost on 9/11 and serves as a constant reminder of the heroism exhibited by fire and law enforcement personnel and first responders that day and on any ongoing basis.

A volunteer group, the Beverly Hills 9/11 Memorial Committee, was established to oversee this project, fundraising efforts and community outreach.

It is supported by the Beverly Hills Fire Department, Beverly Hills Firemen's Association, Beverly Hills Police Officer's Association, City of Beverly Hills and the Rotary Club of Beverly Hills.

About the BH 9/11 Memorial Garden

The Beverly Hills 9/11 Memorial Garden is open to the public on a daily basis and provides a sanctuary for those who wish to sit, contemplate and remember the events of that day. In addition to the imposing Twin Towers floor beam erected at the center of the site, various vignettes have been incorporated to represent the locations of the three plane crash sites – the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and the field in Shanksville, Pennsylvania.
