911 challange coinThe Beverly Hills 9/11 Memorial Garden has created commemorative challenge coins avaiable for the public. Challenge coins signify exemplary service, shared sacrifice and uniting spirit.

The front-side of the coin is an image of the Beverly Hills 9/11 Memorial Garden. It displays the historical steel artifact that once served as a structural member at the World Trade Center site. It is supported by a Pentagon shaped base and prominently looks over the field of greenery representing Somerset County Pennsylvania. It contains the words "Beverly Hills 9/11 Memorial Garden" and the dedication date of September 11, 2011.

The other side of the coin bears the seal of the City of Beverly Hills. It is surrounded by words from the U.S. Declaration of Independence: "Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness" and the United States of America.

The Beverly Hills 9/11 Memorial Garden Challenge Coins are complimentary to donors at the $250 or higher level and also may be obtained through a $20 donation at the Beverly Hills Fire Department.  The Beverly Hills 9/11 Memorial Garden is a project of The Beverly Hills Fire Chiefs Fund, a 501 (c) (3) organization.

The Beverly Hills 9/11 Memorial Garden provides a sanctuary for those who wish to honor, sit and reflect, contemplate and remember the events of that day. In addition to the imposing Twin Towers floor beam erected at the center of the site, various vignettes have been incorporated to represent the locations of the three plane crash sites – the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and the field in Shanksville, Pennsylvania.
